WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. —
With only a few more weeks until Christmas, three western Pennsylvania theme parks are already ready for the summer fun to begin, announcing their opening days for the 2026 summer season.
On Wednesday, a spokesperson for Palace Entertainment said in a release that Kennywood Park, Sandcastle Water Park, and Idlewild & SoakZone are hard at work preparing for a thrilling 2026, and all three parks have announced Opening Days and the park’s full lineup of events. Advertisement
Kennywood will welcome guests back on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Sandcastle and Idlewild & SoakZone will then open on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
