We're getting closer the kick off of the 2026 World Cup that will take place next summer in the United States, Mexico and Canada where 48 teams will fight to win the most important soccer tournament in the world. However, while several teams are still waiting to secure their place at next summer's World Cup, some of the biggest nations have already qualified, including 2022 champions Argentina, 2018 winners France, and five-time world champions Brazil.
The South American qualifiers have officially ended, while some of the big European teams are still waiting to know if they will have to face the playoffs in March 2026, as some others have already clinched a spot. Paths to the World Cup final will be revealed on Dec. 5 during the draw, taking place at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.
