VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Goldeneyes have dealt veteran Denisa Krizova back to the Minnesota Frost in exchange for forward Anna Segedi.
The Goldeneyes announced the deal Wednesday, with general manager Cara Gardner Morey saying in a release that the move wasn't an easy decision because Krizova is a "strong forward" and "high-quality individual."
Vancouver picked up Krizova in June's expansion draft after the 31-year-old Czech forward won back-to-back Walter Cups with Minnesota.
She had four goals and five assists in 30 regular-season games for the Frost last season, and made eight playoff appearances en route to the team's second PWHL championship title.
Segedi comes to Vancouver after playing last season at St. Lawrence University, where she contributed 54 goals and 65 assists over 16
