Fort Lauderdale to replace beach basketball courts with pickleball, opponents call it gentrification

Fort Lauderdale officials plan to replace beach basketball courts with pickleball courts as part of a $3 billion redevelopment project. Opponents call the move gentrification and have launched a petition with more than 8,000 signatures to keep the courts.
