LEBANON, Ore. - A woman from Linn County is facing serious charges for allegedly stealing tens of thousands of dollars from her elderly mother over nearly three years.
Linnea Marie Baker, 57, has been charged with first-degree criminal mistreatment, first-degree theft, and four counts of aggravated first-degree theft in Linn County Circuit Court. Authorities have issued a warrant for Baker's arrest.
Baker describes herself as a motivational speaker and mental health specialist, according to her LinkedIn profile and an online blog. She also claims to work with Oregon's first responders as a crisis intervention specialist.
Baker has two active GoFundMe pages. One was set up last month seeking $2,000 for breast cancer treatment, while the other, established in May, requests $2,800 to help
