A former Perry County mayor who was charged with more than 60 felonies for the prolonged sexual abuse of a girl last month is facing additional charges in Dauphin County, court records show.
On Oct. 21, a relative of Michael P. McCreary contacted Pennsylvania State Police in Newport to report instances of sexual abuse.
On Nov. 5, Dauphin County police interviewed the victim. An affidavit of probable cause provided the following details:
The victim told investigators that McCreary’s abuse started when she was in kindergarten. When the victim and McCreary were alone, he would subject her to sexual abuse.
The victim told police McCreary would abuse her near a window so he could make sure nobody was coming home.
