Colorado AD Rick George makes bold statement about Deion Sanders' future

Colorado athletic director Rick George issued a show of support for Deion Sanders this week. On his way out the door after stepping aside as athletic director, he shut down any suggestion that the Buffaloes’ third-year coach is on the hot seat.

After a fan on social media questioned Sanders’s future and suggested his “seat was getting hot,” George responded bluntly by saying, “The seat is not hot. We believe in what is ahead for this program.”

George message counters what many supporters are feeling. This has caused speculation surrounding Sanders, who has led Colorado to a 3-7 mark, which is the worst of his tenure thus far.
