JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A patient of Healthlink Jax shared her experience with the program after the city contractor, Telescope Health, tasked with supporting the program, Healthlink Jax, is currently being reviewed by the Duval DOGE Committee over allegations of fraud.
“So, I recently found myself without health coverage after being laid off, which is a scary situation. I started having some issues and was hospitalized for a little bit. The social worker connected me with Health Link Jax," said Healthlink Jax Itiyah Yisrael.
Yisrael says that through one phone call, she was able to connect with a free clinic to get her medical needs addressed.
