Fort Wayne officials Wednesday used a pep rally-themed event, complete with Bishop Luers High School cheerleaders and ballpark concessions, to announce the master developer of the North River Fieldhouse.

Fort Wayne’s Redevelopment Advisory Committee selected PB Development, an affiliate of Kansas City-based Price Brothers Management Co., to lead the project along the downtown riverfront. The fieldhouse is expected to cost at least $50 million and lead to more development, city officials have said.
