COLUMBUS, Ind. – The City of Columbus has announced that Columbus City Hall and all offices, including Columbus City Utilities, will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend on Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28. Offices will reopen on Monday, December 1.
On Monday through Wednesday of the coming week, trash pick-up will be on its normal schedule. There will be no garbage, compost, recycling, loose-leaf, or brush collections on Thanksgiving Day.
After Thanksgiving Day, service will run one day behind. Thursday’s trash will be gathered on Friday, Nov. 28. Normal Friday collection will be on Saturday, Nov. 29.
