A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of two teen brothers, the Lacey Police Department announced.
The two brothers, Alexander Borgen, 16, and Deven Borgen, 17, were found dead lying in a crosswalk after an alleged shooting in Lacey at approximately 2 a.m. last Friday. According to Lacey Fire District 3, the first agency to arrive at the crime scene, they were found lying in the crosswalk with apparent gunshot wounds near the intersection of College Street and 24th Avenue S.E.
They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was arrested at a hotel in Wenatchee and subsequently booked in the Thurston County Jail at approximately 1 a.m. Wednesday morning. He is facing two counts of first-degree murder in addition to two counts of drive-by shooting.
