A man and his girlfriend have been charged with various crimes after detectives found more than $50,000 worth of cocaine at his home in Mercer County.
Hedtson Perez, 42, and his girlfriend, Lisbeth Acevedo-Lara, 31, of Hamilton, are both charged with multiple first-degree drug and weapons offenses as well as one count of endangering the welfare of a child, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement on Wednesday.
Prosecutors did not say which specific drug and weapons charges they face.
As part of a drug distribution investigation, detectives searched Perez’s home on East Franklin Street in Hamilton on Nov. 6. A K-9 conducted a narcotics search, which led investigators to 326 grams of cocaine, authorities said. The estimated street value of the drugs is $56,300, official
