Greater Lansing had three boys basketball teams make runs to the Final Four in their divisions at Michigan State’s Breslin Center last season.
And that included East Lansing breaking through by capturing the Division 1 state championship and Fowler finishing as the Division 4 runner-up.
Pewamo-Westphalia was the other team to get to Breslin and has star Grady Eklund back.
East Lansing, Fowler and P-W have hopes of putting together strong winters once again as the boys basketball season tips off on Dec. 1. East Lansing has two of the area’s top talents back in KJ Torbert and Kingston Thomas as it chases a repeat.
Those three programs aren’t the only ones with high hopes for the season, with several others having key talent back.
