The Atlanta Braves came into the offseason needing to make some big moves to get back to the postseason. On Wednesday night, they made the first big move of the offseason to improve their team.

FanSided's MLB insider Robert Murray reported that the Braves have agreed to terms on a one-year, $16 million deal to bring veteran closer Raisel Iglesias back to Atlanta next season.

Iglesias, 35, has played 11 years in the big leagues to this point. He began his career with the Cincinnati Reds, where he played his first six years. Iglesias ended up with the Los Angeles Angels after the shortened Covid season. After 104 appearances with the Angels, Iglesias ended up with the Braves, where he's been for the last four years.
