One Mets rival had a busy Wednesday night.
The Braves signed closer Raisel Iglesias to a one-year, $16 million contract, and one hour later, acquired utilityman Mauricio Dubon in a trade with the Astros, the team announced.
Atlanta sent infielder Nick Allen to Houston to complete the swap.

Iglesias, 35, had spent the last three and a half seasons in Atlanta and provided the Braves with consistency back-end relief pitching.
The right-hander has a 2.35 ERA and 0.94 WHIP with 239 strikeouts and 97 saves across 222 appearances since an August 2022 trade from the Angels. He had a 3.21 ERA and 29 saves in 2025.
