SOUTHAMPTON, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - On Wednesday night, a driver lost control of their car and crashed into the barriers on Pomeroy Meadow Road.

At the time, the bridge on Pomeroy Meadow Road just before the Loudville Road and Glendale Street intersection was closed down to one lane for all traffic.

Officials state that no one was injured as a result of the crash. They also reminded drivers to use caution on the bridge as they have seen an increase of accidents in the area.
