Army Heritage Center Foundation President Julie Germany has announced two new additions to the nonprofit’s board.

Pennsylvania’s former Assistant Adjutant General Robert P. French and acclaimed filmmaker Michelle Taylor have both accepted the Carlisle-based foundation’s invitation to join the board of directors.

Maj. Gen. (Ret.) French launched his military career when he enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 1972, according to a press release. He and his unit were mobilized in support of the United Nations’ peacekeeping effort in the Balkans. Throughout his 37-year career, he served in numerous command and staff assignments, which culminated in overall responsibility for the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
