FARGO — North Dakota State won its fourth straight game, this time beating Jamestown 82-67 in a matchup of Division I and II teams on Wednesday at Scheels Center.
Markhi Strickland scored 22 points and Noah Feddersen had 20 for the Bison. Ford Okehi led the Jimmies with 16 points on 7 of 10 shooting.
The Bison led for nearly the entire game, trailing just once when Jamestown's Zeke Austin hit a 3-pointer for a 15-14 lead in the first half. The Jimmies connected on 60% of its first-half shots from beyond the arc to keep the game close. A 3-pointer by Jamestown's Anthony Walters cut the lead to one with 2:52 to play in the first half.
Trevian Carson had 16 points and a team-high eight rebounds while Andy Stefonowicz added nine points for the Bison (4-2).
