Investigators probing the Red Fort blast case have found a “widespread network” that connects “foreign handlers” in Afghanistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to local operatives, including Umar Nabi, according to a report by Indian Express.

Security agencies are probing the November 10 Delhi Red Fort car bomb – in which 15 people were killed and over a dozen left injured after a suicide bomber detonated a Hyundai i20 loaded with ammonium nitrate fuel oil. The IE report stated that bank accounts amounting to over Rs 2 lakh have been frozen.

While exploring digital trails of calls, chats and fund routes, two “handlers” have been identified as Faisal Ishfaq Bhat and Dr Ukasha. Both currently are believed to be in PoK and Afghanistan.
