INDIANAPOLIS — Broad Ripple neighbors filled the auditorium at Broad Ripple Middle School on Wednesday for the second of four community meetings focused on a new master development plan aimed at revitalizing the village.
Residents are being asked to dream big as leaders gather ideas for improving economic development, safety and overall vibrancy in the popular north side district.
Bo Boroski, founder of Friends of Broad Ripple Village, said the community has faced years of decline.
“There’s a degradation in the village that’s been happening for the past 20 years,” Boroski said. “I think people have the mindset that somebody else will take care of it, the city will take care of it, the owners will take care of it.
