A former Connecticut school paraprofessional admitted to creepily texting an 11-year-old boy nearly 5,000 times, coercing him with gifts including Apple AirPods and caffeine before sexually assaulting him.
Alyson Cranick pleaded guilty to federal charges of coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity, the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut announced Tuesday.
The 44-year-old married mother of two lured the child to meet up with her over a course of several months in 2022, driving him to several different locations where she forced him “to engage in sexually explicit conduct with her.”
Cranick was an administrative assistant at E.O. Smith High School in Mansfield until she was fired in September 2023.
