MURRAY – (KT) Jonathan Clark, director of the Baptist Campus Ministry at Murray State, was recognized this week for providing 10 years of service to Operation Christmas Child.
Clark said he has always encouraged the BCM students to participate in the Operation Christmas Child shoebox campaign and understands how it can be a seed for the gospel.
“My wife and I have been doing it even longer than the 10 years,” he said. “We were doing it 15 years ago at Southeastern Louisiana University.”
Clark’s role now isn’t so much stuffing the shoeboxes – though he still does some of that – but it is allowing the BCM on campus to serve as a relay center for churches, individuals and groups.
“We put them in larger boxes and take them to Community Christian Fellowship in Graves County for processing
