Jets head coach Aaron Glenn speaks on the development of QB Brady Cook

The New York Jets are making a quarterback change amidst a miserable season. However, third-string quarterback Brady Cook won’t be moving up the depth chart.

Head coach Aaron Glenn announced on Wednesday that Tyrod Taylor would be taking over starting quarterback duties from Justin Fields. A small majority of Jets fans wanted to see Cook get some action, but for now they’ll have to wait.

Cook went undrafted out of Missouri in the 2025 NFL Draft. He spent all five seasons of his collegiate career with Missouri, throwing 50 touchdowns to 15 interceptions.
