Amid the ongoing probe into the Delhi blast case, the Faridabad Crime Branch has detained a maulana and a teacher from Sohna in Gurugram, Haryana.

According to the sources, it has been learnt that before the Delhi blast, Umar used to visit the Raipur village mosque in Sohna and was in contact with the mosque’s maulana, Tayyab Hussain, and an Urdu teacher.

Umar, the suicide bomber in the blast outside Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station which killed 13 people, visited the Raipur mosque several times. Following his mosque visit, he also went to a fertilizer and seed shop in Sohna’s mandi.

Late last night, the maulana and the Urdu teacher were taken into custody for questioning.
