Amy Dowden has been flooded with messages of love and support as she offered a health update alongside a candid photo following her recent surgery.

The Strictly Come Dancing star was first diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2023 after finding a lump in her breast ahead of her honeymoon with her husband, Ben Jones and went on to undergo a single mastectomy and gruelling chemotherapy treatment.

Amy was told in February 2024 there was "no evidence of disease" and returned to the dance floor later the same year, but has often been seen documenting her monthly visits to the hospital for an injection as part of her ongoing treatment due to the hormone-fed cancer she was diagnosed with.
