Nagpur : The investigation into the major Shalarth ID salary fraud has intensified, with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) arresting three more accused for allegedly creating fake employee identities and siphoning off government funds meant for school staff salaries.
The case, registered at Nagpur City Cyber Police Station, involves large-scale misuse of the Shalarth ID system —a digital platform used by the Education Department to manage employee records and salary disbursements.
The complaint was filed by Ravindra Gyaneshwar Patil, Junior Administrative Officer at the Deputy Director of Education’s office.
