Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries , has forayed into the pet care segment with the launch of Waggies, a new pet food brand positioned around accessible, science-backed nutrition.
The company's focus, it stated, is affordability. Waggies is first launching two variants: Waggies and Waggies Pro, priced at ₹199 per kg and ₹249 per kg, respectively. RCPL has also introduced 100g trial packs priced at ₹20 to encourage first-time users.
The company said Waggies has been developed using research-led formulations that include herbs, DHA for brain development, essential vitamins and highly digestible ingredients. The portfolio also includes prebiotics for digestive support, added protein, and nutrients targeted at joint, skin and coat health.
