The International Tennis Hall of Fame is welcoming a heavyweight to its prestigious group next year.

Roger Federer, a 20-time major champion, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame next summer in Newport, Rhode Island, the hall announced on Wednesday, Nov. 19.

Federer will be joined by broadcast journalist Mary Carillo, who earned her induction via the Contributor Category. The celebration at Newport Casino is set for Aug. 27-29.

Federer, who was inducted on his first year on the ballot, is one of only eight men in tennis history to achieve a career Grand Slam in singles and was the first male player in tennis history to win 20 major singles titles, according to the Hall’s press release.
