ROCKFORD, IL — A dentist who brings comprehensive dental care to thousands of children from low-income families is a finalist for the 2025 Excalibur award.

For the past 20 years Dr. Cyrus Oates has been working on a mission to get Rockford children the dental care they need regardless of barriers like cost and transportation.
