WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – The Sedgwick County Health Department is encouraging people who use tobacco products to quit as part of the annual Great American Smokeout.
Held by the American Cancer Society, the event, which takes place each year on the third Thursday in November, serves as a reminder and an opportunity for people to make a plan to quit smoking, even if it’s just for the day, with the long-term goal of living a smoke-free life.
