Budget 2026: Mining industry seeks nil export duty on low

Union Budget: India's mining industry, through FIMI, is urging the government to remove the 15% export duty on low-grade bauxite and double import duties on finished aluminium to 15%. The federation also seeks concessional rail freight rates for key commodities, aiming to boost exports and address rising logistics costs impacting the aluminium sector.
