Cartoon characters, 'Anybody Else' among write-in votes in Frederick's general election

Cartoon characters Donald Duck, Daffy Duck and Mickey Mouse all received write-in votes in Frederick’s general election, along with many celebrities and locally known people.

The approximately 800 write-in ballots cast in the general election for seven City Council members and the mayor were not enough to make a difference in any race.
