KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -Patchy, dense fog this morning with mostly cloudy skies. Allow a few extra minutes heading out the door, as visibility becomes limited. Winds will be light to calm.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with rain moving in by the afternoon and lingering into the evening. Highs will be in the 60s to near 70. Widespread rain Thursday night will taper off to scattered showers after midnight.

FRIDAY: Scattered showers continue off and on throughout the day. Still some dry time, but you’ll want to keep the rain gear handy, especially if you have any Friday evening plans.

WEEKEND: Highs will drop back into the low to mid 60s in most areas with lows in the 40s. Showers are likely Saturday morning, but the afternoon should be dry. Sunshine is more likely Sunday.
