DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A large fire broke out at a recycling facility Thursday morning in Durham.
Firefighters responded just after midnight to a large pile of trash that ignited at the Durham Transfer Station on Hoover Road. No injuries have been reported, and no evacuations are necessary, though the cause remains under investigation.
In a separate incident, firefighters also responded to a house fire in North Raleigh near Creedmoor and Five-40. It is unclear if anyone was inside or injured, and the cause of this fire is also under investigation.
