Police have issued a CCTV image in an appeal for information about an incident on board an Airdrie train last month. ‌

The image was shared by the British Transport Police (BTP) this week, showing a man who they believe may be able to assist their enquiries. ‌

The nature of the incident, which occurred on a service between Airdrie and Drumgelloch at around 7pm on Tuesday, October 21, has not been disclosed at this stage. ‌

The man is described as white in his 50s, bald, around 5ft8 and with a heavy build. He was wearing a green waterproof jacket, dark blue jeans, and black boots. ‌
