CONWAY -- Behind large scoring runs in the first and fourth quarters, the Central Arkansas women never trailed and pulled away late in a convincing 81-58 victory over Arkansas State on Wednesday night at the Farris Center.
UCA (2-2) knocked down 10 of 23 three-pointers, including 6 of 10 in the fourth quarter. Shae Littleford scored a game-high 23 points on 7-of-8 shooting and made all three of her three-point attempts. Littleford also crossed the 1,000-point plateau for her career.
Jenna Cook made a trio of three-pointers and finished with 13 points, while Cheyanne Kemp and Paris Santacaterina added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Sugar Bears.
