We're starting our Thursday off with some lingering patchy fog and drizzle. While the cloud cover is expected to stick around for much of the day, we could see some breaks in the clouds later on. Highs today are expected to be a bit on the cool side, only reaching around 51 degrees.
As we look ahead, we have a rather typical late autumn pattern developing for the Rockford area and surrounding regions. A developing system is expected to bring some light rain on Friday to what are otherwise overcast conditions.
