English rock band Squeeze has announced a new album just a few days after a former member died .
The forthcoming album, entitled “Trixies,” will be released in March 2026, Squeeze said in an Instagram post on Nov. 13 with the caption, “Experience the world and people inside Trixies: pre-order your copy on vinyl, CD and pre-save to stream now.”
Dubbed a concept album, “Trixies” will feature songs that Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford wrote when they were teenagers in 1974, nearly five years before Squeeze’s self-titled debut was released.
“The songs that we wrote then astound me. I’m proud of them now, and I’m particularly proud that it was young us that did that,” Tilbrook said, according to Stereogum . “These are very much the same songs that we wrote then. The only difference is
