The Trump administration has announced a new campaign, designed to encourage civility in air travel. The campaign has a number of directives for passengers, including that they should be “dressing with respect.”
The campaign, which has the tagline “The Golden Age of Travel Starts with You,” is designed to “bring back civility and manners when we travel.”
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy shared a reel to Instagram where he confirmed the initiative and suggested travelers ask themselves five questions when they fly. This list of questions includes:
Are you helping a pregnant woman or the elderly with placing their bags in the overhead bin?
Are you dressing with respect?
Are you keeping control of your children?
Are you saying thank you to your flight attendants and pilots?
