A Massachusetts man was indicted this week in the grisly murder of his pregnant girlfriend back in August.
Gregory Groom, 22, of Rehoboth, was indicted by a Bristol County grand jury for the murder of 18-year-old Kylee Monteiro on Aug. 7 and a charge of witness intimidation, the Bristol District Attorney's Office announced Thursday. Groom had previously been charged in district court, and the indictment moves the case to superior court.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in Fall River Superior Court on Tuesday.
Groom was arrested in late August after remains were found on his Rehoboth property as part of the search for Monteiro, who had been reported missing. He has been held without bail since that time. Gregory
