LEH, Nov 20: The Inquiry Commission at the New Court Complex in Leh has issued a public notice warning that any act of intimidation, coercion, threat, harassment or undue influence aimed at preventing witnesses or individuals connected with an inquiry from participating freely will attract legal action.
It stated that anyone facing such pressure has the right to file a complaint directly with the Commission, which will take immediate cognizance and initiate proceedings to safeguard the integrity of the inquiry.
The notice also said that all complaints will be handled confidentially and with top priority, and any retaliation or adverse action against complainants or witnesses will lead to penal consequences.
