Tylah Williams has gone from working at West Coast’s team store to being a part of their AFL list after being drafted on Thursday night.

Williams landed in the nest with pick No.39 after the Eagles chose to match a bid by cross-town rivals Fremantle at the start of the third round.

The Swan Districts forward was expected to get a bid as early as the first round of the draft after a stellar finish to the season.

“It means a lot, everything they’ve done for me and to finally get the chance to play for them, I am super excited and grateful,” Williams told The West Australian.

“Just being around the club the whole year, they helped me a lot. They made me comfortable with the club and players.
