New Delhi: Indian boxers continued the country’s gold rush at the World Boxing Final 2025 by pocketing two more elusive gold medals. After Minakshi Hooda, Arundhati Chaudhary, Preeti Pawar and Nupur Sheoran earned four gold medals for the country, Nikhat Zareen and Jaismine Lamboria emerged victorious in their respective final bouts to add to the gold medal tally.
Later in the day, Parveen Hooda was involved in a tough bout but ultimately prevailed 2:3 over Japan’s Taguchi Ayaka in women’s 60 kg final to give India another gold medal. On the ultimate day of the mega event at Greater Noida, India have till now earned 7 gold medals as the Indian women boxers continued to be on a roll on Thursday.
