The wintry weather has caused travel delays across all six counties on Thursday and has brought icy patches as well as lying snow in places.

The Met Office, having issued the warning earlier this week, said some roads and railways were likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services, along with some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths. They warned some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces were likely.
