A stabbing along the turnpike in Franklin County led to the arrest of two men accused of human trafficking, according to state police.

Troopers said they encountered a vehicle that drove into the median on the Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-76 in Lurgan Township at 5:39 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Advertisement

Three people were in the vehicle: two men and a female.

Stabbing incident

According to state police, one of the men was suffering from a deep laceration to his neck and shoulder area.

He was provided emergency care before being flown to Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, police said. His condition is unknown.

The female who was in the vehicle fled when troopers arrived, according to investigators. She was located a short distance away by state police officers.
