Thanksgiving is less than a week away, and predictions are starting to show Michigan should expect cold and snow for the holiday.
The National Weather Service forecasts above-normal chances for rain or snow over Thanksgiving for all of Michigan, with colder temperatures from a cold front, according to long-range precipitation and temperature outlooks.
" A significant pattern shift is upcoming for the end of November into early December ," the NWS office Gaylord said on X on Nov. 20. "This will bring much colder temperatures and increasing snow chances, including during parts of the Thanksgiving holiday travel period."
