In a soul-crushing incident, a dismembered body of a child, aged around seven years, was found near the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) expressway in Bilaspur.

Police recovered the child’s head with the torso and a leg in the green belt along the expressway, while his right leg and both hands were missing.

The discovery triggered panic among the locals and prompted the police to register a murder case.

According to preliminary reports, the body appeared four days old. The police are yet to verify the identity of the child and a probe is underway.
