The Indian women’s team is set to play a five-match home T20I series against Sri Lanka in late December 2025. According to a RevSportz report, the games are likely to be held between December 21 and 30, with Vizag hosting two matches and Trivandrum staging the remaining three.

It’ll mark a return to the field for Harmanpreet Kaur’s team for the first time since being crowned the World Champions. They beat South Africa in the final at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai to clinch a first women’s World Cup for India.

This series will replace a rubber against Bangladesh comprising three ODIs and three T20Is scheduled for December — part of the ICC’s Future Tours Programme — which will no longer take place, reportedly, due to ‘prevailing diplomatic tensions between the two governments.’
