DYERSVILLE, Iowa — If you refurbish it, they will come.

Major League Baseball is returning to a cornfield near Dyersville, Iowa, for its popular MLB at Field of Dreams series, and the Twins are one of the headliners. Minnesota will take on the Philadelphia Phillies at the newly refurbished stadium, made famous for its role in the 1989 movie classic "Field of Dreams," on Aug. 13.

MLB staged games there in 2020 and 2021, but suspended the series while improvements were made to the ballpark. The Twins will be the home team, and after Thursday's game and a travel day Friday, the two ballclubs will conclude their 3-game series at Target Field.
