Several Glasgow Central services remain severely disrupted following damage to overhead wires.

On Thursday (November 20) morning, ScotRail warned of severe disruption to its services to and from the busy station due to the issue.

And despite Network Rail's efforts, disruption to several services, particularly to Glasgow southside , remain ongoing.

Currently, Glasgow Central to Cathcart Inner Circle (via Maxwell Park) and to Cathcart Outer Circle (via Queens Park) are suspended.

Services to Barrhead are also suspended.

Glasgow services to Ayrshire and Inverclyde are returning to a normal schedule and trains to East Kilbride will run every hour.

ScotRail confirmed that services to Newton, Neilston, and Paisley Canal will be reintroduced shortly.
